USCIS must verify your identity and confirm your eligibility to receive information before providing any information or other requested service. Depending on what information we need to respond to your request, we may forward a service request to the office that is processing your case. USCIS forms and USCIS online accounts are always free. Filing a form online is easier and faster than paper filing.

We do not allow applicants, petitioners, and requestors, or their attorneys or accredited representatives, to physically come to a USCIS field office to make a payment. Please refer to your interview or appointment notice to confirm the field office address for your visit. If our online tools do not provide the help you need, please call the USCIS Contact Center to request an appointment. We invite the public to submit feedback regarding Policy Manual publications. You may sign up with USCIS to receive automatic notifications, including information regarding new regulations, policies, and forms or changes to them.

To process applications faster, we may move some of our application work to other field offices. Under USCIS policy cell phone, video, and audio recording, as well as traditional and cell phone photography are all prohibited in USCIS field offices, unless specifically allowed during naturalization ceremonies. Under certain circumstances, you may be able to pay with personal or business checks drawn on a U.S. bank and payable in U.S. funds, if you are eligible for a paper fee payment exemption. Do not send original documents unless specifically requested in the form instructions or applicable regulations. We recommend that you review these requirements before completing and submitting your form.

Inquiries Based on Filing Location

Please do not submit this checklist with your Form N-400. Please see our USCIS Early Filing Calculator page for additional information. Please check our Direct Filing Addresses for Form N-400 page for information on where to mail your application. If any of the form’s pages are missing or are from a different form edition, we may reject your form.

If you are eligible, this exemption will allow you to submit a paper-based payment. If you do not submit your applications to the appropriate direct filing address, your case may take longer to process. We will process your application even if you do not create an online account, but we encourage you to create and access your online account. You must file a paper Form N-400 along with the appropriate waiver request and required evidence. You must create a USCIS online account to file your Form N-400 online.

DHS Terminates Family Reunification Parole Programs

If you are filing Form I-131 directly with a USCIS field office to request advance parole, you can only pay with 1 credit card or make 1 EFT using Form G-1650 from 1 U.S. bank account. Tools

We accept payments at our field office locations through Pay.gov for the following forms in limited circumstances. You cannot file online if you are requesting a fee waiver or a reduced fee; you must file a paper Form N-400. If you submit Form N-400 on paper, we will mail you a USCIS Account Acceptance Notice with instructions on how to create an online account to track and manage your case. If you are requesting a reduced fee or filing a fee waiver, you cannot file Form N-400 online. Federal agencies that propose new regulations or forms, or changes to existing regulations or forms, generally publish notices in the Federal Register and provide a specific period of time to receive public comments.

Green Card Processes and Procedures

File your form online for a more convenient and secure experience. Check for current office closure information and office https://lunarcapital.team/ location prior to visiting one of our offices. Starting on Oct. 28, 2025, USCIS will no longer accept checks, money orders, or other forms of paper payments. When you submit your application package to the DOJ, you must also submit a copy of the package to your local USCIS district office. This is against the law and may be considered an immigration services scam. Many people offer help with immigration services.

If you complete and print this form to mail it, make sure that the form edition date and page numbers are visible at the bottom of all pages and that all pages are from the same form edition. All Forms

Once a protected person’s identity has been verified through this process, the Contact Center can respond to the inquiry or provide assistance. Share sensitive information only on official, secure websites. If you are not an attorney and wish to provide the public with immigration services, you must be authorized by the Department of Justice (DOJ)’s Office of Legal Access Programs. Therefore, you might receive a notice (for example, for an interview or a Request for Evidence) that comes from another field office that has not handled your case before. You cannot split your payment between 2 different credit cards or bank accounts for this single benefit request, even if you use 2 different Forms G-1450 or Forms G-1650.

Protected individuals may also send a secure message from their USCIS online account, and USCIS will call the person to complete the enhanced identity through the specialized verification process. Before calling the USCIS Contact Center, you should have your receipt notice(s) for the particular form(s) on which you would like to request information or other services for reference during the call. The service centers and the NBC do not provide LunarCapital scam in-person assistance with questions about your case.
